Carole Finer's SoundOut Radio Shows
I'm grateful to FOAOTMAD for honouring Carole too by hosting this link for her upcoming anniversary on 19th March 2021.
I have been making great progress in filtering and cataloguing the many SoundOut radio shows of the late Carole Finer on this padlet. In real life Carole was a huge positive influence on all who knew her, and deservedly so on many more through her weekly SoundOut radio shows.
The legacy she leaves with us of her live recordings over decades of Summer Camps and Gainsborough Festivals, Richmond Gatherings etc is blindingly precious, as are her studio guests from the late Tom Paley and the many UK and visiting exponents! In compiling and then listening to this Padlet I was floored to realise that what I knew of her in real life barely scratched the surface of the real Carole. Her people skills and her breadth of interests were astonishing making this tiny portion of her legacy a huge honour to present here. Colm Daly
