Olly will provide a range of relatively easy dances in a variety of formations, perhaps with a few more challenging ones once you’ve warmed up. Full instruction will be given before and during each dance, and the main aim is a relaxed, inclusive event with plenty of laughter. The Community Hall at Grizebeck Grizebeck, Kirkby-in-Furness, Cumbria, LA17 7XH Telephone: 07411 320999 Adult £10.00 Written and performed by Keith Alessi, Tomatoes … is an award-winning and highly reviewed one-man show that has been touring North American since June of 2018. It tells the story of his multi-cultural boyhood, meteoric rise in the boardroom to the startling news that changed his life forever. An inspirational true story about overcoming obstacles, pursuing passions and the healing power of music. A heartfelt project that began as an idea after a devastating life event caused Keith Alessi to think differently about his future. Before taking to the stage, Keith was well known as a successful public company CEO and college professor. He has led companies in both Canada and the United States. The show has gained traction across North America, winning awards, incredible reviews, sell-out runs, in multiple cities and was a firm audience favourite at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022. Putting accolades aside, the most amazing part of the journey has been seeing how the show connects to people on a deep and personal level. There are many messages to take away. A heart-warming show which is much needed at present – BritishTheatreGuide.info An honest telling of one man’s journey. Alessi’s performance manages to be warm, tear-jerking, and humorous all at once – a gem in New York City’s off-off-Broadway scene. – The Paper, NYC Just a note to let her friends know that Judy Spindler sadly passed away two weeks ago.
Judy was the Deputy Editor and Magazine Designer for FOAOTMAD's magazine, Old Time News, for many years and can take much of the credit for its present high standard of design and finish. Judy was a lover of old-time music and was often seen playing her autoharp at sessions, camps and festivals around the UK. She will be greatly missed by all of us who knew her.
