This year’s House Party includes workshops in Banjo, Fiddle, Guitar, Mandolin, and Appalachian dance run by some of the country's best known old-time performers and teachers.
The instrument workshops are aimed at giving players of all abilities the opportunity to play music with friends in a relaxed session environment and attend a workshop or two with the in-house tutors, however, the workshops do not cater for absolute beginners. For more information about the tutors please see the poster below.
In addition, there will be slow jams and regular sessions during the weekend and a barn dance after dinner on Saturday evening. Friday and Saturday evenings will also feature short performances by the tutors, followed by more group sessions.
