Alternative Payment Methods
If you have both a UK postal address and UK bank account, our preferred method to either join or renew membership of FOAOTMAD uses the GoCardless service to set up a recurring annual subscription payment by Direct Debit.
If you are unable for any reason to use the preferred method, then there are alternatives available. These are detailed below, but please consider that they incur additional expenses for FOAOTMAD (reducing the funds available for events and activities) and also create additional workload for committee members.
Please DO NOT attempt to send cash payments by post, either from within the UK or from overseas.

If you are visiting a FOAOTMAD event
You can join in person at any of the FOAOTMAD events and pay with cash or by cheque. Just locate the event organiser or a committee member and they will deal with your application.

.Existing UK members with Standing Orders
If, as an existing member you currently have a Standing Order in place, we would prefer you to change over to the GoCardless direct debit method. However, we will of course respect your choice to stay with the Standing Order method. Please ensure that your payment amount is set at the correct value or some of the club’s benefits, including some issues of the quarterly magazine, may not be available to you.
