We collect and store your name and address so that we can send you your copy of the Old Time News. These details plus your email address are stored on a password protected, GDPR compliant management system. Only members of the elected committee have access to your details, these will never be passed on to a third party.
The membership management system we use, membermojo, relies on being able to send information to you about your membership primarily by email. Where members don’t have an email address or email’s “bounce” we will send correspondence by the normal postal system.
We do occasionally send out information about our events by email but do offer the opportunity for members to unsubscribe from these if they so wish.
Photographs - We take every care to ensure that where photographs are included in our magazine and on our website that, where required by the GDPR, they do so with the subject's consent.
Social media - Where individuals post photographs or videos on our social media sites such as facebook they should make every effort to ensure that the individuals who appear are aware and give their consent.
The general news email data is held by Mailchimp; security details of this system can be found at: https://mailchimp.com/about/security/ This is separate to but controlled by FOAOTMAD and has to be signed up for on our home page.
